About this blog

Who and why?
I’m a teacher / teacher trainer based in Mexico and this blog is primarily aimed at, although obviously not restricted to, the teachers I work with throughout the Mexican Republic.

Here, I hope to promote and further teacher development in Mexico (and beyond) by sharing ideas, thoughts and insights related to the teaching of English as a foreign language, and by introducing teachers to a wider online network of education professionals.

Teaching Materials
There’s also a small selection of downloadable teaching materials that I’ve designed over the years. Among other things, there are a couple of worksheets which draw on silent way methodology and some writing tasks which reflect a discourse view of language.
